To assist developing communities with their development plans we are in need of investors, with their heart in the right place, who are looking for long-term investments and cooperations. Funds provided by third parties (private & business) are available to local residents only, to spur entrepreneurship and to stimulate the local economy in general.
Hagnaya Roads (Accessibility / Improvement)
The Hagnaya Roads (Accessibility/Improvement) Project is involved in improving the crossroads within the barangay (villages) of Hagnaya to create safer access to water sources and wells and stimulate road safety in general. Many families within the community still have no or little access to fresh water every day and so must rely on their children or their neighbours' goodwill to help. Younger people (children) often have beter access to water sources than older members of the community because the roads to the wells and fresh water sources are in bad condition or don't exist at all. In line with safer access to water sources and wells the Hagnaya H.C.D. Project also focuses on water supply in house and road construction activities to stimulate solutions that make water supply at home possible.
In September 2009, we've finished our first actual (basic) construction on the field, which still continues to provide us with positive feedback from the comunity in Hagnaya. The mission was to create better access in at least one barangay (village) in Hagnaya so that every resident can reach the fresh water source at any time. Now even the oldest residents of the barangay come to the well again, for many that was impossible for years!
